Guardianships enable caregivers of adults with disability due to mental deterioration, physical incapacity, mental illness, or developmental disability, to assume responsibility for the custody and wellbeing of their loved one.

We work closely with families to guide them through the incompetency hearing and then through the necessary steps to obtain a guardianship appointment. We can assist with guardianship of estate and/or guardianship of person and advise on less restrictive alternatives to guardianship including respite care, home health assistance, mental health services, and assistive programming coordination.
